Summary
This position is located at CFPB, Division of Supervision, Enforcement and Fair Lending, West Region.. The Assistant Regional Director serves as a deputy to and reports directly to the Regional Director within a particular region of the Office of Supervision Examinations (OSE). The incumbent is required to act on behalf of the Regional Director and perform the roles of the Regional Director in the Regional Director's absence or as delegated from the Regional Director.
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Regional Director, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of managers by modeling the highest levels of integrity, stewardship of Bureau funds and the public's trust, and ethical behavior.
- Translate program objectives, the Regional Director's goals, and OSE's priorities into a team vision, organizational structures, budgets, and staffing requirements for current and out years.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in interpreting and applying CFPB policies and processes on matters directly related to the function of the region.
- Serve as a strategic executive advisor to the Regional Director regarding policy and procedure issues, including those of a complex supervisory, enforcement and/or regulatory nature.
Travel Required
76% or greater - All Assistant Regional Directors (ARD) will be required to perform extensive overnight travel. It is expected that ARDs may travel outside of their regular duty location for 76% or more of their regular work schedule or 11 or more nights per month.
