Summary

This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Research, Markets, and Regulations Division. The incumbent will receive assignments that are designed to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities required to carry out assignments at the CN-53 performance level, which is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing business functions, administrative programs and policies.

Responsibilities

As an Administrative Officer, you will:

  • Serve the primary resource manager regarding administrative programs making recommendations, and exercising judgment and initiatives in planning and coordinating administrative activities.
  • Interpret and apply administrative management policies, principles, procedures, and long-range planning.
  • Provide assistance in the full range of business functions including budget and financial management, human resources management, acquisition management, IT, facilities, travel, and other administrative services.
  • Work closely with senior staff to ensure that the mission will not be hindered by a lack of resources, or ineffective and inefficient administrative operations, and to provide the best possible services necessary to accomplish the mission of the organization.
  • Analyze organizational priorities and provides a wide range of liaison services to support program and/or administrative functions, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the organization.
